GRAND and Loving IT!!!!

Hello Everyone!!! I just joined the ranks of the bloggers out there. My daughter Nina has an awesome blog and I am her biggest fan, so I decided to write a blog with my Granddaughter in mind, so she could read for years to come.  JUST ASK MY GIGI...... GiGi is my Grandma name... and Amelia is my perfect Grand-daughter. If I recall, my daughter Nina, ( you will hear a lot about Nina) named me GiGi during her pregnancy. Since my  mother has a very unique Grandma name,  Baja...... we decided to come up with our own cute Grandma name. (hahaha)
My son, Nuno, named her Baja when he was 2 years old.. we were coaching him to say "grandma" and he kept repeating..."BAJA" then...it just stuck... Baja it was.. she actually loved the name because everyone knew her as Baja.... I can remember Nuno and Nina getting upset with the children my mom used to babysit......"That's MY Baja." they would say... then the other children would say.."noooo it's our Baja." ahhaha and on and on... finally we would say ....."SHE is EVERYONE'S BAJA!!!"

Being a Grandparent is such a blessing and joy... I am so looking forward to the time with my sweet Amelia and any future grandchildren.  Nina is such and awesome mother to her, I simply am blown away by her mothering skills. It's amazing being a GiGi..More to come about Amelia and lot's of other stories... Remember......Just Ask My GiGi...
